Lil Thinkers

It is indeed normal for kids to ask lots of questions. The following is one of those few yet cute examples…

Scene: Sam and mommy is strolling along SM Department Store

Sam: (Suddenly recalls something) Unsa name friend tito Carl mommy? (What’s the name of Tito Carl’s friend?)

Mom: Eric

Sam: diba naa sya girlfriend? (She had a girlfriend, right?)

Mom: Oo. (Yes)

Sam: why man naa sya girlfriend mommy? (Why does he have a girlfriend?)

Mom: because big na man sya (because he is big)

Sam: si Tito Carl mommy naa sya girlfriend? (Does Tito Carl have a girlfriend?)

Mom: wala (None)

Sam: why man mommy, small pa sya? (Why mom, is he still small?)

Mom: (laughs and thinks for awhile thinking on what to say next) because wala pa man sya love. (Because he has no love of his life yet)

Sometimes parents just answer questions to their kids without even thinking. There are times that kids know better than their parents. Mostly, during those moments like the above circumstances, parents would be amazed to think that kids could ask such questions at their young age. Perhaps it is indeed true that kids nowadays are fast thinkers than the ones before them.

A Family Together

This is one of Sam's masterpieces. Every time this kid draws something, her family is always the content of those simple yet meaningful creation.

House Rooms...

Sam and I was reviewing for her first grading exam about different rooms in the house.

Me: Sam, where are you going to eat?
Sam: Eating room
Me: Not eating room, dining room. Where are you going to watch tv?
Sam: Tv room
Me: Living room. Where are you going to sleep?
Sam: Sleeping room
Me: Bedroom. Where are you going to take a bath?
Sam: CR room
Me: Bathroom. Where are you going to cook?
Sam: Kitchen...

Hurray...! At least she got the last one right... I thought she was going to answer cooking room.

Peanut Please...

Sam was eating peanuts and Ella was asking for some...

Ella: Sam, give peanut
Sam: Say please
Ella: Please
Sam: Say Please....
Ella: Please....
Sam: Say PLease...Sam
Ella: Please...Sam
Sam: Say Please...Ate Sam
Ella: (slaps the peanut on Sam's hand)

At last, the younger sister realized that her ate was just making fun of her. So, at the end, she gave up begging.

Tickled by a flower

Bleh... The only comment baby Ella can give while feeling the tickle of the flower on her ears.
